Suitable for ages 8 yrs to 11/12 yrs.
What is Kidz Kombat?
Kidz Kombat is a unique self-defence program designed with children & young teens in mind. These very popular self defence classes are conducted in a safe and fun environment by our highly experienced instructors. All classes are taught in an age appropriate manner, using language and enjoyable drills & exercises suitable for their age, which means each child can learn to defend themselves from the risks of modern society.
What will my child learn at this camp?
Theory Modules
* How to deal with bullying (verbal & physical).
* Protecting their personal space using ‘the fence’ technique.
* How to develop a self protection game-plan.
* AID Program – Ask, Inform, Defend.
* Knowing when to say NO (secret password, stranger danger).
* How to resist peer pressure & make positive choices.
Practical Modules
* How to physically defend against bullies: release techniques from wrist grabs/shirt grab/headlocks etc.
* How to defend from the ground or prone positions.
* How to defend against larger and multiple attackers.
