How long have you been training in Hard Target? Just three years.
On Saturday May 28th, we had the tough task of grading our junior members. Each and everyone of them put so much hard work, sweat and the occasional tear into their training over the last year. They endured an incredible 4 hours of both practical grading combined with a written exam in our Kidz -Kombat® programme.

As part of my TY work experience, I experienced the work of those at Hard Target Self Defence and Focus Fitness.
On Monday January 8th my week of work experience began.

My name is James Kirwan and I am a student in Hard Target School of self-defence. When I was fourteen, my life became very difficult. I started to spend days in bed, not eating and not talking to anyone. My parents decided to bring me to the doctor, and this lead to a period of six months where I was passed from doctor to doctor…

It was 5.30pm, on a bright evening. I had just finished work and was making my way home through multiple busy streets. I suddenly sensed someone walking quite closely behind me but thought nothing sinister could happen as there were plenty of people around.
